Found a Happy Birthday email from Adrian, deeply buried in one of the email accounts! Thanks!!
Adrian is an old friend from the Gatech days. A really really friendly Cuban guy…
I remember once he let me drive his VW bug up and down the parking lot so I can practice for the driving test!! ^^p
Thanks, man! ^^

The guys at Adrian’s wedding!
Congratulations!!
I wonder when we’ll ever meet up again…

A picture is worth a thousand words that make you really hungry. ^^
Yakiniku Jojoen!

Just bite, right? Nope.
Well, at least not according to the guys at work.
They were laughing at me, the silly Gaijin. ^^p
Apparently in Japan, to eat an apple you absolutely have to cut it and peel the skin and stuff…
Now that’s silly! ^^
First weekend back in Tokyo.
Ribs! Ribs! Ribs!
Omygosh, click the image for a larger version so you can see what I’m talking about! ^^
And The Famous Apple Pie Ice Cream!
We went to “Shutters” in Jiyugaoka!
Just 10 mins walk from home!
It’s great to be back! ^^
Good friend Tak was in town.
Quite a long way from his home in some snowy mountain in Aomori where he spends most of his time in deep meditation in order to achieve Enlightenment. Just kidding. ^^
Actually he was on his way to visit Kyoto for a few days. So that he can spend some time there in deep meditation in order to achieve Enlightenment. Kidding. Did it work twice? ^^p
Anyway, last time he had a huge motorbike and we went for a ride around town, which was really cool! ^^
Visited family friends who live in Busan.
Visited The Hyundai Factory in Ulsan.
Visited Seoul and hung out at cool places and made many new friends. ^^
And of course, ate lots and lots of Korean Food!
Kimchi! Beef BBQ! Kimchi! Pork BBQ! Kimchi! Ginseng Chicken Soup! Kimchi! ^^
I learned that in Korea the BBQ restaurants are split into two types: Pork BBQ and Beef BBQ. I learned this because, well, during the 10 days we were there, we ate like 3 times for each of the types! And at the end of every meal, after we ate until we absolutely couldn’t eat no more, is when they serve us the huge bowls of NengMyun Cold Noodles! ^^;
Baby Crab (raw?) Kimchi! I’ve had Korean food countless times, but I have never seen this one before. It’s great! Kinda like sashimi but very very hot and spicy!
A whole ginseng and a whole chicken in there! Plus glutinous rice, and lots of other goodness…
I am fat.
I am very fat.
Kamsa Hamnida! ^^
